1. GENERAL
Welcome to the www.lapit.beer website. This website is provided by IDFR SRL (BCE 0825.009.447). Only the terms and conditions below apply to your use of the site and to our relationship.

2. TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE
2.1 MINIMUM LEGAL AGE FOR ALCOHOL CONSUMPTION
2.1.1 We sell craft and specialty beer via this website (our “Products”).
2.1.2 We only sell and deliver our Products to consumers residing in Belgium, aged 16 or over. If either of these do not apply to you, then this site is not for you.
2.1.3 In order to comply with legal requirements, we have various age-checking procedures in place for the ordering process.
We cannot be held responsible for customers under 16 who are dishonest about their age in order to order our Products.
2.2 OUR PRODUCTS
2.2.1 Our Products are intended for consumption by consumers in Belgium. Our Products correspond to their description on this website and on their labels. They are of sound quality and comply with legal requirements.
2.2.2 Our Products must be stored in a dry place, away from direct sunlight or rain. They should not be stored outdoors or exposed to temperatures below 5°C or above 25°C.
2.2.3 Our Products are intended for end consumers and may not be resold.
2.3 ORDERING AND ORDER CONFIRMATION
2.3.1 You can place your order on our website by selecting the Products you want, then following the on-screen instructions and filling out the requisite information. You can check the order details when confirming your order, and correct any errors. Take the time to read through and double-check the details when placing your order.
2.3.2 Before confirming your order, you will be asked to confirm that you accept the terms and conditions. If you have any questions about these terms and conditions, please contact us before placing an order.
2.3.3 When you are ready to order, follow the order process and then click on the "Payment" button on the order page. Once you have clicked on "Payment", you will no longer be able to make any changes to your order. You will then be directed to a third-party payment partner page to make the payment.
2.3.4 Once payment has been made, you will receive a confirmation email containing information relating to your order, e.g. a list of Products and prices (including delivery and tax charges), along with any additional information. Please retain this confirmation email. If you do not receive a confirmation email within one working day of placing your order, please contact us.
2.3.5 The transaction will be considered confirmed when you receive the confirmation email.
2.3.6 We reserve the right to cancel your order if the Products you want are no longer available or if full payment has not been received. We also reserve the right to refuse or cancel your order at any time if we have reason to suspect that the purchaser or recipient of the Products is under the legal age for the purchase of alcoholic beverages.
2.3.7 Should we cancel your order, we will refund your payment within 14 days of cancellation.
2.3.8 Should we be unable to fulfil the entire order, or should any of our Products be unavailable, we will contact you by email or telephone to offer you a reasonable alternative Product, or we will inform you when the Products are due to be back in stock again., It is your decision which of the proposed alternatives to accept. Your decision does not affect your rights in the event of cancellation.
2.4 PRICING AND PAYMENT
2.4.1 All prices and charges on the site are given in euros and are inclusive of VAT and excise duties. The delivery charge (by BPost) is extra and will be quoted to you before you confirm your order.
2.4.2 You shall pay for your Products using the payment methods offered on this website. We do not accept any other method of payment.
2.4.3 All payments are processed by our third-party payment service. They are subject to the terms and conditions of use of the latter.
2.4.4 By paying for an order via credit or debit card, you declare that you are the authorised cardholder.
2.4.5 All cardholders are checked and issuers are contacted for authorisation. Should your card issuer decline payment, we cannot accept your order.
2.5 DELIVERY INFORMATION
2.5.1 Our Products are available only in 12-bottle packs, with a minimum of one pack and a maximum of four packs per order.
2.5.2 We operate a 48-hour delivery service via BPost (excluding weekends and public holidays); we deliver within Belgium only. You will receive an email from BPost containing your parcel-tracking link.
2.5.3 Recipients of deliveries of alcoholic products must be of the legal age for alcohol consumption. The delivery driver may request proof of age and may refuse to deliver the Products if there is inadequate proof.
2.5.4 If there is no one at the delivery address, or if the person present is not at least 16 years of age, the delivery company shall not be required to deliver the package. In such cases, the delivery driver will leave a delivery note.
2.5.5 Please do not accept damaged parcels.
2.6 ORDER RETURNS AND CANCELLATION
2.6.1 Should you wish to cancel your order, you have the right to cancel within fourteen days, provided that the Products have been neither consumed nor opened. The cancellation period is valid for up to fourteen days after the day on which you, or a third party other than the carrier and designated by you, takes physical possession of the purchased Product.
2.6.2 We do not accept returns other than for Products which are clearly defective at the time of receipt (in which case the Product must be returned to us in its packaging as received).
2.6.3 Should you have a problem, or if you wish to return a Product to us, please contact our customer service department by email via info@lapit.beer, giving your order number, and we will ensure the matter is dealt with.
2.6.4 Except in the case of defective products, any Products returned must be in perfect condition and fit for resale. We reserve the right to deduct part of the refund for any loss in value of a Product should this loss be due to undue handling or damage on your part.

3.1 DATA PROTECTION & COOKIE POLICY
3.1.1 For marketing purposes, we store information about visitors to our website, and about people who correspond with us. We use various cookies on our website. Our data protection and cookie policies apply to our entire website.
3.1.2 We comply with data protection legislation. You have the right to consult and request the amendment or deletion of your data.
3.2 COPYRIGHT
3.2.1 The website and its content as a whole, its features and functions (including, but not limited to, all information, software, text, images, video and audio, etc.) remain our property, or that of our group companies or our co-contractors, and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property rights.
3.2.2 Use of this website is limited to the grounds permitted by our terms and conditions. Making copies (even partial) of our website or using any data contained therein is strictly prohibited.

4.2 AMENDMENTS TO THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS
4.2.1 These general terms and conditions of sale are applicable to all orders placed via our site. In placing an order, the customer is deemed to have understood and accepted these terms and conditions unreservedly.
4.2.2 We recommend that you print out these terms and conditions or save a copy of them on your computer. However, each time you use the website you must reread its current terms and conditions to ensure you are always cognisant of the latest version.
4.3 APPLICABLE LAW AND JURISDICTION
4.3.1 All of our contracts are subject to Belgian law. Any related disputes shall fall solely within the jurisdiction of the courts of Liège.
